When children enters their schools they should have an ultimate truth which is learning concrete things and comprehending the materials that helps them in their daily life and in their future, and to be realistic in expectations. Education is a real life where students spent most of their time in, and it is a necessity to teach students for higher level of thinking, to be creative, and have the ability to care of their problem-solving to enjoy learning.
Education should move toward teaching students interesting topics by using interesting materials that helps them in using the resources around them. Educational goals are required for the development of continuing professional education. The goals are not only teaching students for getting good marks or just entering college, it is giving students chance to succeed in life where they can enhance learning through doing and application. The goals help students learn more, and increase their effort for reaching those goals.
That's right haneen,education is a real life and students spent most of their life in it. What teachers must focus on is what to teach and how to teach things that can be memorized in their memory for long time. Nowadays its easy to observe that students are being taught to fill the exam and get marks only without caring for the importance of such learning itself. Shifting away from this belief force teachers to search for methods that make students more interest in learning to succeed in their life.
ReplyDeleteteachers should work hard to build a firm understanding that the learning process is a life long process, and it is not restricted within the borders of school but it stretches and continues with us along our life journey.Also, they should work on convincing students that learning is not a punishment, but that they can enjoy. However, our bitter reality reflects the opposite, students consider school as a prison where they have to do hard work in order to be free at the end, we should work hard on changing this view, and it is not an impossible mission but it requires perseverance and constancy.
ReplyDeleteOf course, education should be meaningful and every thing the teacher wants to teach should be related to the students' real life. The teacher should always give the students real life example if she wants to explain any thing so they will understand it more. And its better if the teacher talks about her experiences because this will encourage students to talk about their real life experiences without being shy. In addition, and the most important is to build our goals based on the students' needs to engage them in learning process and let them experience success.
